Baby food prep with Nuby

Grayson has tried quite a few veggies now and loves them all. I prep all his baby food and freeze it. I may not be a great cook, but Grayson seems to love his gourmet baby food.

To prep his food I use The Baby Bullet! Grayson’s Aunt and Uncle gifted us with this and it’s awesome. Perfect to travel with too, because of its size. After cutting and steaming all his veggies individually, I add them to the blender with infant water. Next I pour them into the Nuby Garden Fresh Freezer Tray or Garden Fresh Storage Pots.

With the freezer tray, you can store up to 9 individual portions (approx. 1 oz.). I like this tray because the material makes it easy to remove the food. With the storage pots, each pot holds approx.2 fl. oz. I just take what I need from the freezer and place them in the fridge the day before feeding. This allows them to thaw out in time. As you can see, Grayson sure does enjoy trying to feed himself. In this shot, he is wearing the Nuby Silicone Feeding Bib. These are the only bibs we use! They wipe off so easily after each feeding. I highly recommend trying out any of the Nuby feeding products. They do not disappoint!

  1. Yup, did lots of fresh baby food prep and freezing with my firstborn! Then my second born pretty much skipped purees and went straight to self-feeding small soft things, so I haven’t done it in awhile! Hopefully we’ll have a third before long and I can put my stash to good use again. 🙂
