It has been awhile since I have shared some #momconfessions
While both my guys nap today, I sit here just reflecting on how blessed I am with this beautiful journey of motherhood.
Recently, I was reminded of where I thought I would be at this point in my life and it’s crazy how life just happens and your course of action completely changes.
A few years ago, I was working towards my second Bachelor’s degree in Nursing when I abruptly had to end the program due to multiple mental health hospitalizations. My heart was broken and I felt I had lost my purpose. My husband and I ultimately decided I wouldn’t be continuing schooling and figured it was time to start a family.

I’m a firm believer that there doesn’t have to be just 1 path (career or otherwise) in life. It’s great you know that nursing just isn’t the path for you, at least for now.

We all have different skills and talents outside our careers and I believe we have many of them, sometimes hidden ones. I’m with you, I also dropped my career path, if you can call it that because I graduated with no intention of following through to complete my Architecture license in the US. I was already married and was pretty much just waiting to start our family and once I became a parent I knew that’s what was missing all my life!

I love this post and it has inspired me to reflect on my own life. I have always lived with “no regrets” and that’s probably why I have my little miracle baby. Nothing in my adult life has come quickly, easily or exactly as planned but through perseverance, prayer and hard work I am living my best life.
