One thing I had all my family members do for Grayson’s first birthday was write a letter for him to open on his 18th birthday! Thanks to my creative Instagram pal Chelsae, my husband and I completed a short interview for him to read in the future. We answered the questions on our own individually and then discussed our responses with one another. I have provided the interview below!

What you wish you knew before having a baby: How expensive formula and diapers are

Biggest challenge over this past year: Getting him to walk
Favorite baby stage (within the first year): About two-three months in when he started sleeping 12 hours a night
One thing you wish for your son: I hope we give him the best life we can!

What you wish you knew before having a baby: This is a hard one. I don’t think anything prepared me for the amount of attachment I would feel.

Grayson is his mother’s son because… he is wild and loves to explore
Biggest challenge over this past year: I think I often expect too much from him developmentally and have to refrain from challenging him all the time.
