Independent Feeding with Nuby

Encouraging independent feeding is hard for me. I often hate to let him make the mess, but I am getting better at it. I have put together a list of items that have helped us with this journey.

These products were given in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own. This post also contains affiliate links. My full disclosure can be found here.

  • Sure Grip Miracle Mat Feeding Oval Placemat: This is perfect for finger foods. It is BPA free and super easy for them to eat off of.
  • Easy Go Suction Bowl and Spoon: this is awesome to throw into the diaper bag and bring along on trips. There is a place that the spoon attaches so it doesn’t get lost in the deep darkness of your diaper bag.
  • EZ Squee-z: this is one of my favorite feeding items. It basically turns any purée or yogurt into a self feeding pouch. I typically put yogurt in it for breakfast. He loves it!
  • Thirsty Kids Flip-it Active: I was shocked at how well Grayson drank from this sippy cup. He drinks water with all his meals using this. It has a cap so it’s also great for the diaper bag.

Nuby never ceases to amaze me with their products. They are practical and reasonably priced. To check out more awesome Nuby items, click on the links below!

  1. We have the Nuby mat too! I love it!! We did Baby Led Weaning so my baby made a MESS every single time, but I learned just to let her! It was hard at first but I learned some tricks along the way to make clean up easier! Good luck!

  4. I absolutely need to try some of these! I wish we could use the silicone mats, but our high chair is a table connection and they never stick to our farmhouse table 😦
